The Reconquista

It had not been a year that House Goratrix had been in control when House Vulcan overthrew Austinus and Pagan became Emperor. Goratrix who had recently been declared renegad by Pagan, would not simply hand over the throne however and with help from Houses Slick Ink, Dello, and Grendelus he launched a counter-attack on House Vulcan. The Vulcan Defense Initiative held off Goratrix for many months until they finally collapsed. These months of fighting for the crown of Eridanus would be remembered as the Reconquista.

Afterwards, Austinus goratrix became Emperor and House Vulcan faded from the galaxy without another word. House Ventruz however was still fighting to reclaim the throne. Thousands of Pirates all over the galaxy were recruited by Helmut to harass Eridanus. When the Imperial Army finally found the location of House Ventruz operations, it is rumoured that he was found waiting inside his fortress where he was captured and thrown into prison. Others claim that he died fighting along side his soldiers and some say he was executed on the spot. As to his final fate no one will ever fully know except House Goratrix.
