The Eternity Church

At the dawn of the universe the many supreme beings were jealous of Erus power and were at war. To put an end to the fighting our god, Erus, or Lord in the ancient tongues sealed himself and the spirits of the other beings in another dimension as they began to rip apart the universe.

The last commands of Erus were, tolerance of religion, faith in him, and to meditate daily.

There is now only one known entrance to the dimension in which the gods have been sealed. Presiding on Sheratan these structures are known as The Gates of Eternity. To become a Seer a believer must enter these gates and speak with Erus himself and he alone judges their worthiness. Upon leaving the dimension they gain the ability of foresight, psionics, and the knowledge of the entire universe and it's mysteries. However they must also take a vow of silence before exiting the gates. Because of this they must communicate psionically with a trusted friend who must voice their thoughts.
