The Decree of Imperial Eridani Supremacy

With the revocation and repeal of all laws and precedents in the Empire of Eridanus, let the following Imperial Decree stand as the first principles of the Empire:

That the Emperor and the Senate of Eridanus are the sole and supreme authorities of the galaxy. No powers are recognized as their equals or superiors.

That the Emperor of Eridanus is the sole and rightful head of state, as the monarch of the Empire.

That the Senate of Eridanus shall consist of all planetary rulers in Eridanus, and shall be empowered by the Empire, to formulate the laws of the Empire.

That each Senator shall rule their planets in accordance with local laws and customs, so long as they do not conflict with the Empire.

That the laws and customs of every planet within the Empire, so long as they do not conflict with the Empire, shall be honored by every House of the Empire.

That all of the Houses of the Empire shall be bound to obey the laws and dictates of the Empire of Eridanus, and shall receive protection from the Emperor of Eridanus against those Houses which are not part of the Empire.

That all of the Peoples of the Empire shall be bound to obey the laws and dictates of the Empire of Eridanus, and shall receive protection from the Emperor of Eridanus against those who would do them harm.

As I have decreed, so shall I enforce.
