House Aucodi

The story of House Aucodi begins on the frigid planet of Regulus 9. The Aucodi name could be traced back for centuries through Regulus 9's history, while never a major galactic player, the Aucodi family was responsible for much of the early development of the ice covered planet. It wasn't until the formation of the Empire, that the Aucodi family, lead by Father Roman Aucodi, threw it's hat into the ring and took up the mantle of one the Great Houses. Roman liquidated all of his family assets on Regulus 9 to form the Aucodi Parcel Service, a trade company that would be the foundation upon which House Aucodi would build it's fame. What began as a small trading center on Regulus 9 and Sabik quickly grew into a galaxy spanning business.

With his growing influence, Roman knew that for him to get ahead in Baade he would need to make friends and quickly, he found these friends in the Trade Federation, a group dedicated to protecting the rights of merchants and helping smaller mercantile houses onto their feet. With the help of House De Vaux and House Balthazar, Roman was able to expand his holdings and further increase his influence on many planets within his range. It is during this time that House Aucodi sensing that it's prospect were limited on Regulus 9, moved it's head quarters to Acrux, a planet that in every way was the opposite of his home world.

Though sad to leave his ancestral home, Roman gladly welcomed the challenge of being more centrally located and testing himself against the harsh desert heat of Acrux. It was during this time that Roman began to learn of the almost insurmountable power of the Imperium Nostrum. Roman had felt disgust for what he saw as an overbearing and pushy group of Houses who only sought to impose their will on others, though the most of his contempt was for House Luxerat, which stood for everything he disagreed with. Roman became a vocal critic of the Nostrum and their tactics, often taking every opportunity to criticize House Luxerat and Imperialism and challenging Maesil to a failed attempt for the senate seat of Sabik. It was in these dark times that a plan began to hatch.

Working closely with House Balthazar, House Aucodi with the efforts of the Aucodi Security Defense Force and lost technology were able to devise a plan to create a massive army with which to challenge the Nostrum's vast armies. Though the venture nearly bankrupted House Aucodi, Roman saw it as a necessary cost to wipe out the corrupt forces of the Nostrum. A year of planning went into effect as House Balthazar, Aucodi, and key houses in the Trade Federation began in preparations for what would be the largest military conflict in all of Baade History.

Though what is now called the great Baade civil war ended in what most would consider defeat, it did accomplish one amazing feat, it had leveled the field for the rest of the galaxy to catch up with the Nostrum, and has created a more open ended economy. Despite nearly losing everything, House Aucodi was able to use the time of economic prosperity to bounce back from what would have been a bleak fate to a position of power that could never have been dreamt of. Now economically, politically, and spiritually strong, House Aucodi is ready to step up to any challenge of a brave new Baade.

Through the efforts of Chairmen Bauder we have been able to make relevant changes to galactic law, which has made our galaxy more open and fair.
