Alliance Description
We believe that Eridanus has two choices: health or disease.
We believe that passivity will not prevent decay or decline nor do We believe that the malaise is incurable.
We believe that the Body of the Imperium must be purged of Cancerous ideas of pettiness, self-service.
We believe that the skys at night should shine with glowing health, that each subject should be cared for, so that the body can remain strong.
We believe in the Health of Eridanus, and We move forward to keep the Body healthy.
We believe that the body of the Imperium should be painted, should shine vibrantly and clearly.
Our roles are to heal and enlighten; We are the Forebringers of a new Enlightenment in Health and Culture to Eridanus.
We believe in the sanctity and rights of the Aristocracy, as much as We do in their duties.
We oppose the cancerous idea of war within Our Patient.
We are Caduceus. This is our Voice.
Caduceus was formed by the pacifistic House Walse, who founded the alliance as an attempt to decry violence, and encourage public works and goodwill in the galaxy. The ranks of Caduceus swelled significantly when House True joined (then known as House Boat), who were currently the second ranked house in Eridanus. Many other houses soon followed. By the time that House Aponia joined the ranks, House Walse had already disappeared, leaving behind a message to their alliance stating that they had left the galaxy behind, hoping to find a place where they could be of more service.
House Slick Ink took the reigns of the alliance, and led the alliance through it's golden years - the majority of public works created in the name of Caduceus were made during this period, and the unified Caduceus: The Voice Media was founded, under the supervision of House Avantage. However, public dissension steadily rose in Caduceus, a major factor being when House Aponia legalized the slaves and narcotics trade on several planets, and also when House Von Bismark broke an agreement with the Imperial Guard not to join another alliance before one year after leaving.
When House Slick Ink left the alliance with little notice, the leadership fell to House Aponia, who proved unable to keep the deteriorating alliance together. By the time Duke Valentinus Aponia announced the dissolution of the alliance at the Eternal Festival of Mimosa, membership of Caduceus was down to 3.
