An Empire Reunited

The North and The South reunite under the banner of the Empire. (More needs to be added)

After the announcement of Reintegration, spontaneous celebrations erupted across the galaxy. Despite the grumbling of a few Northern hardliners, most inhabitants of the North were happy to rejoin the Empire and regain citizenship.

Travel and business picked up their paces in the absence of the blockade and the chaos that had defined the North subsided as Imperial law was imposed once again. It didn't take long for the change to become apparent.

The years of chaos and warfare had fundamentally changed the culture of many Northern planets. Compared to those who had never left the Empire, these Northerners seemed dour and tight-lipped. They were wary of strangers. While they followed the laws without question and unfailingly honored contracts, the Southerners quickly learned to read those contracts /very/ carefully. The Northerners seemed to avoid conflict and were socially conservative, but they seemed to have an almost martial ethos as they pursued their goals.

These folk had been through the crucible of The Void Lord, and they had emerged a strong and proud people.
